The Pakistan Postal code System was first introduced in the 19th century to avoid the wrong deliveries of mail. In this system, some specific codes consisting of numbers and letters were assigned to particular regions, and the codes were named as “Postal codes or Zip codes” of that region. The system was very simple in the beginning but later it was modernized and many countries adopted the system to ensure mail delivery to the accurate destination.
